Partners in Safety Mentor Program

The mentor program gives small businesses the opportunity to gain practical advice from a large business in their sector.  It currently involves two of the ACT's larger construction companies (Bovis Lend Lease and Construction Control) taking on a mentoring role for a selected group of smaller businesses.  The program enables small businesses to improve the safety of their workplaces while at the same time complying with health and safety, workers' compensation and injury managament legislation.

The 2008 program involved 7 small businesses working with their mentor companies.  The program did not run in 2009.
