October is health and safety month, or Safe Work ACT Month, in the ACT. Safe Work ACT Month is brought to you with the help of our sponsors, whose support is essential in making this an important event on the ACT calendar.
Entries for the Safe Work ACT Awards for 2009 are expected to open on 15 April 2010 and close on 30 June 2010. Entries will once again be accepted online and entrants will be able to save their entry and come back to it to add improvements or make modifications at any point up to the date that entries close. Once the award entrants have been considered by the judging panel, and award recipients decided, an awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 12 October at the National Convention Centre. The ceremony will be a lunchtime event running from midday until about 3 pm.
